If I had one wish
A beautiful star shining in the sky.
A beautiful bird flying by.
Oh, I wish I could fly.
Fly high in the sky so I could be by your side.
So I could see you one more time.
It was a never ending night.
The moon reflected in your eye.
You were perfect in my mind.
That was when I could call you mine.
I was like a flower that could blossom in any weather.
I didn't know winter nor spring.
I blossomed even in the desert.
But that was then.
When you were my rain in the heat.
My sun in the cold.
You were the light that illuminated my path.
Now you're gone.
When I open my eyes, all I see is dark; in front and back.
Why have you gone away.
Oh, how I wish you could come back.
