    IN A WHISPER

AND IT ALL ENDED WITH A WHISPER.....
THE BEGINNING WAS UNLIKE ANY OTHER
YOU MADE MY HEART BEGIN TO FLUTTER.
AND IT ALL ENDED WITH A WHISPER
IT FELT LIKE YOUNG LOVE, I WAS WILLING TO WAGE
AND IN MY BOOK OF LIFE ,YOU BECAME THE  FIRST PAGE
AND IT ALL ENDED WITH A WHISPER.
WE GREW CLOSER AS TIME WENT ON
WAS 3 YEARS BEFORE YOUR LOVE WAS GONE
AND IT ALL ENDED WITH A WHISPER.
I TOLD ALL THE WORLD JUST HOW I FELT
NOT KNOWING WHAT FUTURE CARDS WOULD BE DELT
AND IT ALL ENDED WITH A WHISPER.
IF YOU UNDERSTOOD MY FELINGS FOR YOU
YOU'D KNOW FOR SURE NO ONE ELSE WILL DO
AND IT ALL ENDED WITH A WHISPER.
THEN YOU TOOK ME ASIDE,YOU HAD SOMETHING TO SAY
I WAS SURE THIS WOULD BE OUR VERY LAST DAY
AND IT ALL ENDED WITH A WHISPER
5 WORDS YOU SPOKE,YOU SAID NOTHING MORE
THEN SLOWLY YOU TURNED WALKING OUT OF THE DOOR
AND MY LIFE ENDED IN A WHISPER

Beautiful heartfelt poetry - divinely revealing and emotionally draining to the point I was reading with mouth a gap, repeating your words in a whisper. Love on, remember always, heal completely - keep creating!

Such feelings and emotion are present with this work.I loved the simplicity and repetition of your statement. It was used well to re-inforce your title and of course, broken heart.i think this work will speak to so many poets of love lost.Thank you for sharing this piece with us.

whoops-sorry for comment spelling errors.Sometimes get ahead of myself.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
