    Inside

They love you; they adore you,
    They worship you.
Now they hate you, they want you gone,
    They take everything away.
And you are alone in the dark.
    Helpless child and
The friend in your head disappears.
    Making endings to
    Stories that never existed.
    You belong nowhere.
    You have seen beyond;
    Went to the edge
    Of the world
And there was nothing to be found.
    You have felt your heart
    Split in two,
    Felt the pain of life,
    But never known the truth.

An excellent poem to describe what you feel inside - the truth is life is full of changes - be ready for them - learn from them - and accept them - so in the future when change come you will be ready to adapt inside and out... KD

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
