    No Turning Back

    So I didn’t
    Get you
    In the
    End.
    And cause
    Of her
    We’re only
    Friends.
    But all
    I could do
    Is pretend
    That I don’t
    Think about you
    Now and then.
    That I
    Can’t depend
    On how
    I feel;
    I must take
    The fact
    That this
    Situation
    Is real.
    Cause of this,
    My life is
    As thin as a
    Crust,
    And we both
    Know that
    This hatred
    Was more
    Than lust.
    So you
    Can be
    You;
    And I
    Can be
    Me—
    And this
    Secrecy of us
    Will never
    Be.

There is no style in this poem I was this just bored and playing around with how it was written.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
