    Is it Love?

Is it love when we kiss the one who we say is so dear,
Is is lust or love when you want someone near,
to fill and empty space, or to occupy your time,
or is it a occasional licentious act that drives you instincts to portray
    passion,
They say love has no color, it comes in no shape or form, but if this is true, why are so many people alone or seeking pseudo forms,
Just because a person is there or say they love you so true,
you shouldn't have to wonder if someone loves you.
You can tell if someones loves you by their kisses, and unforeseen near misses,
Do we wonder why the rainbow displays its colors, and adds to our dreams, or why we seem to stand still as a falling star streams toward wild beyond,
Should have to wonder, if there is peace in our souls, or torments of suffering that even the most feeble person holds,
Just take a look around you, love can be seen, whether its a baby bird's first flight, or a girls first kiss in the moonlight,
Love comes in many forms, and overshadows hate,
When you embrace that special someone, and hold them sweetly in your arms......
    This is love

No licentious acts here, Chinablack. Your poem encompasses the true realities of love. Tremendous write that has your heart written all over it. Thank you for sharing.

Without a shadow of a doubt you have displayed the dualities of love and have mustered up the courage to dare question the truest human emotion. Bravo!

Thank you. I believe that true poetry comes from the soul and the words therein.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
