just a long walk

    just a long walk

    It’s just a long walk

    Starting with small child steps

Take some time to come somewhere

Falling down and stand up again

    It’s just a long walk

Steps were bigger, I learn to run

Didn’t take much time to come somewhere

Fall down a few times and stand up again

    It’s just a long walk

Steps were still big but less fast

Take more time to come somewhere

    Fall less down too

Only ones, in love with you

    It’s just a long walk

    But I don’t walk alone

    When I look beside me

I see you, who keep my hand

    And together we walk

Slowly now, take time to talk

    Don’t need to come somewhere

    Because we are already there

It takes only one step on our way

And that’s the one after which we can stay                      WILLIAMM

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
