Kiss of Heaven

TRIBUTE TO THE SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2001

The Rain was Dry
The Sun was Cold
The Eyes were Sad
As the Story was Told.
A Memory was Seen
From one Little Frown
As Darkness Fell
On Gods Precious Town.
A Ball of Fire
Froze even the Sun
As a Blanket of Snow
Showered Everyone.
An Angel surrounded us
In the Darkest hour
For the Kiss of Heaven
Showed its truest Power.
We Reach for Strength
Of the Childs Light
As 5000 Angels Ascended
For their final Flight.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
