The Boom Box

What is that sound that I hear
Upon the leaves in the darkness?
The silence is spared the change
Upon the sacrifice of the wind.
What is the voice that is heard
In the weary and the broken?
The volume gently roars towards
The faith and the gentleness?
As the strings on the Angel’s harp
Is touched with the baby’s tears.
The beauty of life is born with
The cry of the sinner.
What is that sound that I hear
Upon the waves of the ocean?
The silence is spared the change
Upon the sacrifice to the horizon.
The understanding of the prayer in song
Forever plays from the boom box,
For the miracle is answered through
The songs sang by the Angel’s of God.
