Last Wish

Last Wish

Amazements eve a prophecy,

The eve flew by, a fuse was lit,

A shooting star in a midnight sky,

Quite wishes without urgency,

I saw innocence behind sad eyes,

Innocence inspires youth,

To 'live in love', lifes emergency,

Told to us in ancient times,

An inspired muse was once fortold,

By written words of soft blue hues,

Her beauty they said was Gods last wish,

And wishing still our dreams fulfilled.

thanks for visiting

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
