    I'm fascinated by this and the power that's packed into these two short lines. Sometimes brevity is best, and this is a perfect example. Nicely done.

    I like how the metaphore plays out through your words. It can mean more than one thing or be taken in more than one way.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
