    Leaving You

    Leaving you
    I used to say thats...
    Somthing I would never do
    But now im here
    Your there
    And...I miss you
I never knew it would hurt this bad
    Baby...
    Leaving you...
Was the stupidest thing i'll ever do
    Because now I see
How much you really mean to me...
Now I see you mean more to me
    Than anything...
I would die as long as
    It was in your arms
I would give up anything just to...
    Be with you again
    Your my everything
And when im back with you forever
    Leaving you...
Is the last thing i'll ever do...
    Again...
    I love you

This one is just okay. It is sweet, but the conjunctions at the beginning of the lines dminishes the impact, and there is no meter to speak of. It is a good monologue but just an okay poem. Michelle

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
