    let me go

    why do i get a wanderlust why must i walk without looking back where does my heart long to go thats not here why does nowhere feel like home why do i want to roam this feeling it won't leave me alone where is my home my true home i'm moved to act but act on what action is what i seek adventure life to be the hero i'll never be why does this feeling consume me to this end i'll never know so tell me where is my home where my mind my body and soul can truly rest and my body dares not roam my mind at rest and my soul at peace I crave a battlefield but not the bloodshed a dream without being a sleep and a life to be truly free

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
