    Guidance

God grant me the patience for what I need
The frustrated determination to grasp want I want
Grant me the strength to stand against the storm
The will to live and stand through the rain that crashes down

Guide this fool with your wisdom
Guide this broken heart with your love
I fall a little more every day
Not in love but in pain

Laid before me the futility of the world
    The fact we'll all die
Yet everything we do will be wiped away in a blink of your eye
I strive to hold on to some sense of hope in a world that makes fun of hopeless dreams
