    Seeker

On this precipice of night I swallow through this darkness of life I follow
through this grand design in a cave of my mind no silver lining comes to my eyes

A bell chimes the time the death of one soul the birth of another a new seeker shall rise to continue the lies to find the truth that I find so hollow

A world thats dreams no more of the next adventure the next chance to soar it's been taken the worlds been washed white no end of the chains in site that bind us to protect us in their eyes when all I see is chains to their feet

I pledge before the new seekers life and my end to break these chains that bind me again.

It flows a little unevenly if one reads it out loud, but it gives it a odd feeling to the work too. The flow read really bouncy and happy like to me while the poem itself didnt say that with the words you used. Surely you felt uplifted in some means when you were writing it and came to the end?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
