    Look at you !
     So soft and weak
     Are you blind?
     Do you see what
     I am? Look around
     The bones…God…
     The bones of a thousand
     Warriors Lay about
     They came, others followed
     With one purpose
     To slay me.
     Now you kneel before me
     To say
     You are my daughter!
     Lies!
     All lies I say.
     This curse
     This dragon I've become
     Knows no love
     But from a time
     Long past.
     Give me a reason
     Not to eat you
     A pathetic morsel
     Be gone! Have you no ears?
     But wait.. your eyes
     There's something…
     Tell me of your mother..
     How is it that you grow
     The budOf

     a dragons wing

    Upon your arm?
    Is this possible
    My offspring?
    Your mother…
    Is she….
    A dragon, half dragon
    you say
    Hmmmm…..
    And what of those
    That cursed us..?
    I've heard…
    There is such a beast
    All fear
    Oh the vengeance
    Of a woman!
    We must go
    Seek her
    Unite as one
    A family.
    How long ago
    This was my dream
    Yet now
    Cursed to be dragons
    In a world
    Of dragon slayers.
    So be it…

    have you fought the dragon of many heads that exist yet never did just in thought i slay dragons

    Such an intense poem... and without the details, quite personal to me. I almost felt you wrote it to me, very great writing. My mother named me Long, in the middle.. because I had 'short arm and leg'... :) I love her and miss her. She only shared his name but I have no other memories nor have I ever found or been found. Blessings dear Dragon... so be it.
