I live to love and love to live
To you, my heart I don’t easily give
Hurt me, again and again and again
I will not turn back, I will stay till the end
But someone to lean on is a true gift
If you will fall, it is you I will lift
I always forgive, and cannot tell lies
This is the fault in me I despise
I don’t often cry. I wish it wasn’t so
It’s self-defense I learned long ago
Death has certainly left its mark
A time in my life that was miserably dark
But its better now, brighter and good
For now there is love where grief once stood

I love to laugh, to live, and to learn
But to be loved is what most I yearn
Love is the greatest gift to receive
Glowing and warm, not a feeling to leave

I love to love and I hate to hate
I believe strongly in the power of fate
What is meant to be will be
I trust in God to take care of me
A new fork is approaching, faster and faster
In the road of life I have yet to master
College, a job, and living on my own
Decisions and choices I have to make alone
It’s difficult and scary, I have to say
But I know I’ll make it. I’ll find a way

Love who you are. That is the key
I try not to be what others want to see
Being me for me is my greatest goal
Be true to yourself, and true to your soul

I follow my heart when I can’t make up my mind
There lies the answer, in your heart you’ll find
the truth. It’s always the way to go
Behind the lies, it will always show

Who I am inside and who I want to be
Aren't different people. They don't disagree
I am who I am, its quite simple you see
