Mimic

Never ending burning lust/ the soul laid raw and bare/ in the well of erotic screams/ the joy of being there/ earthquakes lie behind the calm/ the groan that brings a smile/ hidden behind this pleasure facade/heart full of desire/ if there be tigers/beware of snakes/warning, beware, take heed/a beautiful spiders tangled web/ captured within its weave/the master smiles /the blood it flows/ pain is his to feed/ alive for torment/ the taste of pain/ the thrill I feel to bleed/ My master is the one I serve/ I belong In his embrace/ I may not be just what I seem/ behind this innocent face.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
