Mother Nature's Orchestra

Mother Nature's Orchestra

As I strolled to the edge of the pier,
she bestowed herself upon my ears.
I kicked off my old shoes and socks,
pinned up my hair of golden locks.

I sat down to submerge my feet.
Her loving song sounded so sweet.
Whistling birds and splashing fish,
serenaded by music in peaceful wish.

The geese, beetles, bugs and bees;
crickets and the whisper of her trees.
The suns reflection casting off gold;
refreshing water on my skin so cold.

Rippling waves conjure stories to tell,
as the abundance of her waters swell.
I close my eyes and there I can hear,
her trumpets and violins sound cheer.

Exquisite, her saxophones and flutes,
channeling the depths of nature's roots.
I can hear her trombones and cymbals,
as the river crashes against earthy walls.

Her music flowed throughout my soul,
as I dreamed upon mercy of her shoals.
My mind became a vessel set off to sail,
as Mother Nature's Orchestra wailed.

Like the poem. You seems to be attached with nature.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
