    My Sea


    Set me free! I beg of Thee!
    On the wings of an Angel, I shall fly
    far beyond my life and times; this sea!
    Take me to your kingdom in the sky!


    These waters gather unto my soul
    washing my inner evils out to sea,
    fading in and out across the shoals.
    Yet! I beg of Thee from bended knee!


    Tear this broken heart from my chest!
    Destroy these demons parading my mind!
    Carry my soul to a Heaven's blessed!
    Until then, I'm lost in time! Undefined!


    Set me free! I beg of Thee!

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
