    My ex has another

     My ex has another

    I have another too.

    It's sort of hard to say which emotions real.

    Am I upset

    Or even a little distressed?

    Should I curl in a ball being depressed or feel vexed?

    I feel pressed by others to feel an emotion.

    I feel nothing is that normal?

    Am I being too formal hiding my feelings and running with them?

    I think I'm indifferent to the whole thing.

    I am happy for him or is that to horrific for people to understand?

    this poem is quite simple yet right to the point. i can relate for sure. i'm new to this site so i haven't submitted anything yet. my mom burned everything i wrote from age 6 to 18. it's been so hard to write since then. if only i had made copies or had a computer back in those days! losing my prose and poetry was like a huge part of myself going up in flames along with it. enough about me lol but important tip- keep your writing safe and guard it with your life!!
