Poem Commentary

my mom is my best friend i love her to death so heres one of the poems i wrote for her

My mom

She may be my mom
But in all reality
She is like a sister to me
We play and
We can talk about any thing no matter what
She backs me one-hundred percent
No matter what I do
She is there most of the time
She is the shoulder i cry on
But my mom is not
Just a mom
She is the sister
I will never have

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
