Next Stop.....The Light
The train of life
has just
chugged by
having you, uncle, as a passenger
to the light.
You will be
waiting for us at
the station.
Always looking
and waiting but never
wanting that train
to come.
You loved trains
and now you
get taken away
by one.
You never want us
to leave the first station
but you can't wait
for the train
to arrive
and to say
“welcome home”
to everyone
as they arrive
one by one
at the “light” station.
