i am grateful to be part of this community and thank the artists who have already welcomed and encouraged me. i respect and admire anyone willing to share their words and believe it is a noble pursuit. Although we are all on different points of the path, we are on this journey together.

i come primarily from a musical platform and played professionally for many years, but words have been asking for expanded avenues of expression - so I heed the call.

I am currently contributing a weekly music blog on Creative Loafing's website, "the 941", writing and recording new music which will be posted on my MySpace page (patrickunplugged) very soon, and having a wonderful time deepening my relationship with poetry.
