    Reverie

    Curiosity goes wild… than SMACK desire,
    Fixation on every part.
    Heart race.
    Fingers shake.
    Had no taste but comprehend sweetness;
    Had no touch but realize flawlessness.
    Grasping, intertwining over the bar
    Instantaneous reaction
    Venerate a trap.
    Eyes are mine, look into them gaze
    Glazed.
    Breathless .
    Amazed.

    A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
