    A piece of news can change the world
    At least the world you're in
    All the love I had to give
    Was yours for you to win
    But life's cruel game will work against
    Actions that you choose
    Why did you have to play my love
    Why did you have to lose
    A piece of me cracked inside 
    When you were told you'd fly
    Within the next few months the wings
    Would take you to the sky
    I don't want you to leave
    I don't want you to go
    I want you to stay with me 
    I want you to know
    I will love you forever 
    I will see those eyes
    I will see that smile again
    If all it is is lies
    It gives me hope and numbs the pain
    If all it is is pain
    I will see you soon my love 
    And I'll be yours again
