Slavery

Being a slave to you was not my choice
Why did you lock me in chains and Make me work all day without any pay
That was a big mistake

It made me want to run away I had no choice ,but to stay.
When I got free for 10 minutes, my love had gone away
Then you found me and with the darkness of the world locked my chains harder than before

I was mad with fury, I used my powers to punish you till this day

I was testing you the angel I am
Now you are a slave and working, forced to all day till your death

I'm out of breath and my lovers alive
We are roaming free in the sky, the only place free of slave owners like you were
If you did not enslave me the world would be free with world peace

But instead you feast on the crumbs, the mice leave behind
All because you did not let me be free and unwind
So now there is war
Angels bowl and make thunder
Angels make lightning for a party not on earth also they when they are mad

If only you had let me free
Now you our left to suffer

Soon I will not be mad anymore and an everlasting peace will exist and slavery will cease to exist.

It's great poem that I can feel the pain of angel and teach us how to live. I really like it. You will be a great writter.

This is good but I wish you hadn't given the story away in the beginning, I like to try and figure it out and sometimes I never can or a poem says something to me different than what the poet intended, but that is thebeauty of poetry...I like how the angel had a change of heart because true angels would never be mean...I am impressed by your writing and would not have known that an 11 year old had written this, keep it up, you have a promising future ahead of you!!!

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
