    The Letting Go: Drew Lancaster


    It takes hours to freeze

    Years to let go

    Emily wrote this first

    How the person recollects the snow


    First the chill

    Which brings shock to the veins

    Then the stupor

    Hangs the head, a collapse of the brain


    Oh, the letting go

    It can take years you know

    The faster you feel it

    The quicker it goes

    wow this poem really touched me i lost my young nephew back in sept and its true letting go is hard

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
