    The Rainbow In The Sky
    O' Lord, you said you would watch over me and never leave me.
     You said your love for me would never die.
     Your son, Jesus, died on the cross for me,
     And how I'm glad he did not deny.

    Your Promise ~ The Rainbow in the Sky

    O' Lord, I'm glad you loved me, so that you rescued me; For the devil thought he had me, but you pulled me up just in time.
    You said you would guide and direct me.

    For You Promised ~ The Rainbow in the Sky

    Dark clouds and stormy weather are all around;
     But in the midst of it all, you still help me smile;
     Your sunshine rains forever;
     Your light shines through day and night no matter the weather.
     When morning comes and day breaks,
     You allow us to see your hand in this place.
    For you left us something so beautiful beneath the clouds.

    This is great inspiration, and motivation all in one poem. Very spiritual in content. I personally appreciate the content. This is a great piece of art.

    Thank You! This was the second long poem I had wrote after Momma Why Do You Cry. After reading it to a large group of woman at church,one of the ladies told me that I should do more and the Lord gave me this poem. I Love this one too. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

    Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
