Torn Between Two Hearts

Torn Between Two Hearts

O' How great is thee,
To Love me as I turned my heart away from you.

To give my heart to man and not to HE!
So open and filled with pain that I cause upon myself,
because I didn't listen to you calling me.

Tugging at my heart but afraid to lose the person who has become so dear to me.

I'm wavering back and forth between the two hearts who love me.

I hear you calling my name saying, "Let Go" that good will come out of the bad for my good and your glory.

Fear of never having the lover of my life cross to my path again for the third time in this life.
I'm so torn between the LOVE of GOD and Love from man.

LOVE loved us enough to sacrifice his son for us,
And His son loved us enough to sacrifice his own life.

True Love is a sacrifice, to save a soul.
One must be willing to hurt for the other and love them enough to Let Go.

GOD knows what's truly in our hearts,
And in His time those two hearts will meet again in His will!

Torn between two hearts, LORD, help me to do your will,
.....We may not understand "Why", but your way will lead to blessings and life. Help me to give you all of my heart and not just a part of me.

Thank you for listening to me.
Signed the one whose Torn between

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
