Two

Sunshine
dappled
against your face
twinkling eyes
wrinkles of years
flown by
Peace beyond
matter
hearts locked
in blessed
old age
Gnarled hands
bent bodies
shrinking minds
a life together
perfect unison
in a sanctaury
of sameness
no longer new
but
still in
mind
body
soul
each other
the other
for a span
for a lifetime
encircling the two.
