Poem Commentary

I felt a very strong pull and passion of the outer world and I understood it in my sleep but when i woke i lost it all and i wanted to try and force it back out.

Universe

Laying on my bed

Staring out the window

Hand pressed against the cold glass

Reading the sky like story thats almost dead

So far below

As times flys pass

Eyes press toward the sky

Thinking of whats beyond the stars

Wishing I would understand in time

Some unknow universe only caught on radar

Its hard to sleep knowing theres somuch more

I want to be a part of it all

Something new and diverse

But sleep begins to lore

Into deep sleep I fall

With greeting from the universe

The secrets I'm told

But when I wake

I lose all my gold

Once agian wish to take

This is still one of my fav. poems of mine

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
