A mother is someone who loves
unconditionally and unselfishly

She sacrifices her own needs for those she
 cares for during their times of need

She doesn't want anything in return
except their love, respect and concern

Even though she may not receive this
she still gives of herself

Why wouldn't those she loves show
their love for her

There's many human reasons
but none that the spirit can deny

Love comes from within and yearns
to be brought out of self to others

If this doesn't happen, a person is closed 
to happiness from within

Their spirit will grow dim until it has
no glow or show of life

A mother is God's instrument
in the melody of life

Where's your song today
and your rhythm of the heart

Will you play for others
especially your Mother
