    Wind of You

She coddles me, cuddles me, comforts me and
    often tears my eye.
She has direction and taunts me to follow,
never telling me why or where, yet I do
    so without question.
She is what she is and offers no
explanation, not that I'd ever ask why.
She is the wind and reminds me of you and
the reason I think of you now and always.
In the quiet I stand alone, in the cold of
the night, my head turned high.
It is your name she takes from my lips into
her breeze and onto the sky, into infinity,
    and onto forever.
In that moment when your hair is pushed
gently aside, know that it's its' muse
carried afore you, just to be by your side.
To be with you in spirit, to touch your
heart and give quiet solice while we're
    apart, if only in body.

you make me wish my own husband was here with me right now.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
