    Without a Heart

A man without a heart is a man without a soul
Nothing to keep him sane, nothing to make him whole
He locks his heart to shut out the pain
Hides the key with no love to gain
Without a heart no damage can be done
He needs to know he’s not the only one
A mans heart can never steer him wrong
It can only teach and make him strong
If he lacks a heart then he lacks a mind
Leaving him with only thoughts unkind
A man without a heart is a man so unreal
He might as well forget what it means to feel
Lock your heart but keep the key close
The unexpected can change you the most

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
