(4) The Last Days - The Resurrection

I may have died three days ago
But to look at me you'd never know
I was hung on a cross, crucified
Brutally beaten and left to die
I still have the scars on my side, hands and feet
To remind you all what you did to me
You didn't know I was the Son of God
Put upon this earth to trod
To walk with those who hated me
But all I wanted was for you to see
To see that it is you I love
I don't care how hard you shove
Shove me away, I will return
There's still so much for you to learn
To learn to love, to learn to live
To learn to help others and learn to forgive
But until you learn, remember this
Don't live your life in ignorant bliss
For I walked on this earth to save you, my child
But even I didn't always smile
For I was hung on a cross, crucified
Brutally beaten and left to die
