    A Glimpse Into You

As I quickly glance your way
I get a small look into your heart
For once, I get to see
    The vulnerability
As I look deeper I see you searching
I notice the awe in your gorgeous brown eyes
It's hard to believe that I'm looking at you
You never expose this contemplative side
I see you dwelling deep in God's presence
I look closer and see the love in your eyes
    The song ends
    You look up
    Our eyes meet
You somehow cast a spell on me
    I can't look away
A small smile briefly crosses your face
    I quickly look down
    Nervous, I glance up
    To see you still watching
    I smile back
    Looking into your chocolate eyes
    I melt into a puddle
    Feeling rich yet poor
    Falling all the more
    My smirk gives way
    That glance I got today
    Your smile deceives you
For once I saw the truth
