A Cradle for a King

A Cradle for a King

A Cradle for a King
Made only of wood
Yet it held salvation for me
Housed in an animals stall

Softly spoken words
A blessing for all
This night our Savoir reigns
Over this land and within our souls

Lit by moonlight
Room full of straw
Lowly conditions for my Master
God’s presence given to the poorest man

Love and laughter
Born unto us
Three Kings greatest journey
To worship the future Lord of all
