A Love Poem
I want to sing to you a love poem that plays your mind like the the keys of a grand piano or
a love poem that plucks your heart with the
sounds of a bass guitar
I want to sing to you a love poem for when you hear it, you'll be like "girrl that's my song" kind of poem
The kind of poem that washes away your troubles
a fried beacon-scrambled eggs in the morning
type poem
I'm not talking an everyday type poem, but a run ten miles just to slap yo momma love poem,
I mean a soak your feet, "calgon take me away" and sing my "man's a good man" love poem
that wake you up hit the snooze poem, a turn off the lights, light a candle type poem
You know that not in between the sheets but tangled within the sheets love poem
But I want to sing you even-though my voice is jack up, it wouldn't matter cause it's a "I love you" type poem
And though I can't sing to you this love poem, I'll settle reciting to you this love type poem
