Sun-set

Sun-set

subtle
reminders
of
an
unsuccessful
life

a
barren
tree
of
lesser
achievements
and
unclaimed
victories
of
a
once
stable
mind,

the
mixture
of
black,
orange
and
blue
skies
are
reminiscent
colors
of
disappointments
beyond
the
existence
of
sight,

prematurely
mentally
i
close
house
cowardly
shutting
the
blinds
of
mine
eyes
as
the
vision
of
failure
seems
cemented
in
my
heart,

A
sun-set
to
many
is
the
closing
of

day
yet
to
me
it
signifies
an
effortless
beginning
of
the
end

I enjoyed your poem. it was a great read and I imagine a great write. ~!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
