Addiction

I sit upon a cloud, as high as I can be;
Looking throught glassy, clouded eyes is the only way I see.
Surrenduring my everything to the devil in disguise;
Trapped inside who I've become. No one can hear my cries.
I inhale a breath of sorow, I swall all my tears,
I sniffle, then I realize, I'm running from my fears.
Maybe it's time to face my past and end this needless pain.
Find relief, exhale, and pour my suffering down the drain.
Oh Lord, gvie me the strength and the courage to win this fight,
Because above all else what I desire the most is to lead a normal life!
