Poem Commentary

My testimony dealing with the ability to make the most out of whatever characteristics the Lord has given you.

Thankful for the Pain

Although at times it seems the pain is too much to endure

There are so many things that you can count on to be sure

Being labeled as insane, to most, may seem a curse

But if not for all the suffering the small annoyances would seem worse

I feel that I’ve been blessed with all these mental flaws

Because you can never appreciate the ability to walk, until through life,

You’ve crawled.

Even though each and every day may seem so very long

I would never have gained the wisdom and desire to help those who aren’t as strong

I’m thankful to know that when hardships come I’ll always be prepared

Because into the devils fiery eyes I’ve courageously stood and stared

As long as there’s a breath in me I’ll go that extra mile

To help others who suffer as I have and know my pain was and still is worth while!

So very noble and altruistic, the signs of a true Leo! It doesn't matter what people label you as, but what you think of yourself does. Love your writing. Keep up the good work
