The one thing I despise about adults
is their inability to tell you what you can do.
They’re so quick to put the C A N ' T together
but never can show you the way to what you CAN do.

You CAN'T do this
I don't feel you’re able to do that.
You're just not ready for so and so.

I wonder if they don't get sick of those words
like a bad song that plays too much on the radio
those double negatives in your statements my dear adults;
you really need to know you're so played out!

I'm not going to write this poem to rebel against them all
but, to prove a point to all the adults
we can do more than you can think about.

Here's something you need to hear
about those children you have here.
They are more than you can believe
they are the world that you can’t see
they are the life you want to live again.

Big dream for small thinker I think its how it goes.
This is a new time
nothing like when you were younger.
A time where if you don't think big
you're already there.

The tall men in the suit made it without a degree
and we can all agree that's not fair.
But if you look close enough
you will see you have your own genius right here.

With the artist mind
and the number we see jumping in the air 
so why do you keep say you CAN'T do this
without a paper to tell you that you’re getting there.

If a smart man knows everything
what does a dumb man with life experience know?
He knows the meaning of life.

I will love to continue on
the thing is thou
if it wasn't for the constant CAN'T
how else will we strive to prove you wrong?
