    color of my blood

    I've bled away my smile
    every inch of my pride
the one thing that doesn't cry
and yet it faded with the hands of time.
    One single tear hides
    behind the dark colored eyes
of the one girl who cries inside.
    So many things to say
so many times she has prayed
but yet there’s always a delayed
Stand my love and let the tears fall
    now is your chance
    show them you’re all.
    Remove those broken hands
    and let them understand
the one girl who cries inside
decided to show those sad eyes.
    As they take a glance
    you take your chance
to show them with open hands
    the color of your blood.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
