    crazy girl

    A hundred things
    One hundred thoughts
    One hundred feelings
    One hundred nots
    Just sitting there alone
Not a grasp in the world
    Just sitting there alone
    Stupid crazy girl

    One hundred misconceptions
    One hundred rights of life
    One hundred missed reflections
    One hundred things in flight
    Just sitting in the chair
    Sitting there alone
    Crazy girl with pretty hair
    Sitting in her home

One hundred lives to act on
    One hundred people deep inside
One hundred ways to look down
    One hundred ways to hide
All the wrong and stupid things
    Stuck in her crazy mind

    A casting for normality
    A penny for her dreams
    A struggling for reality
    A scrambling for means
A lack of inspiration caring sustenance of life and sharing
    Giving her away
    It gets harder every day

    Needs needs
    Alone alone
    Fuckng terrors through her bones
    Phase make
    Waves break
    Crazy girl at home

    Crazy girl at home alone
    Crazy girl on earth alone
    No one understands her
The clutch that holds this cancer
    Sighted rhyming chain and timing
    Pretty for their ears
    But no one really hears
And no one will ever know
    The confusion in her soul--
She is forever on her own with this
    Crazy girl she wouldn't miss

This piece is an eloquent and undistorted recording of the manner in which the human mind, if allowed to run amuck without direction, can bedevil and preoccupy the entire human being it was designed to serve. It was written from the vantage point of the Inner Observer, earning 10 for both content & structure.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
