    Cries From A Broken Heart

    Cries From a Broken Heart

My heart cries from  all the pain

But these lies will bring no gain.

My soul is bleeding, it’s torn in two.

Deep inside I’m needing more than you.

They are my flesh, from me they were born

With me they mesh, without me they mourn.

I am only one, I don’t know how or why

This pain, it stuns, makes me want to fly.

Fly far away, alone, alone forever alone.

To quietly sit and pray, silently cry and moan.

I feel like Job when he wanted his life to end.

This pain I cannot defend, I just want it to go away, to mend.

I never want to cause pain, to hurt another living soul

Please God, no more rain, please pull me from this black hole!

Please heal this ache from deep inside,

Shed your holy light, in me abide.

PRIESTESSMACK commented on Cries From A Broken Heart

I CAN FEEL YOUR DESPERATION AND YOUR PAIN. I TOO NEED A WAKE UP CALL. READ "THE EAGLE" BY PRIESTESS MACK AND YOU WILL KNOW YOU ARE NOT ALONE. WHEN THE PAIN IS TOO MUCH TO BEAR, IMAGINE IT STOPPING AS YOU GLARE. GET MAD WITH THE PAIN AND FACE IT HEAD ON AND THEN YOU WILL KNOW IF YOU SHOULD CARRY ON.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
