It Was A Soft Quiet Voice

It was a soft quiet voice

A very simple expression of feeling…

She noticed how he worked so diligently

On his barn, he worked so hard

    He so enjoyed his barn

She was just expressing how nice it would be

To see that kind of passion for the

    Inside of the home…

It was a soft, quiet, sad voice

“I wish you worked as hard on the house”

But, his response was the usual anger

He got up and walked away

Like a spoiled child who didn’t get his way

    Here we go again…

She wonders, will it ever end…

He told her once that he should be able

    To express his feelings…

I guess that only meant him…

     Here we go again…

She wonders, will it ever end…

SOMETIMES ONE CAN'T EXPLAIN AND THE NEED FOR IT WILL DRIVE YOU INSANE. THE BARN SEEMED ALL HE THOUGHT ABOUT, HE PROBABLY FIGURED THE HOUSE I WONDER ABOUT.

The passion the lies inside for another love is hard to break the ride, I love you I hate you and what we seem to hear. When you need them they are there only when you want to let go, not all are the same yet the feeling you that you get from this poem has got to by torture in ways. This was a great write and good flow.

    Thank you for your comments.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
