Dark Can Be Beautiful

Sleepless Nights,

Tired days.

Burning light,

Welcoming Dark.

Bright sun,

Beautiful Moon.

The wonders of the Night,

Incomparable to day.

Senses heighten,

As the last piece of sun slips away.

With the Moon looking down,

Watching over us all.

I feel safe,

And I feel strong.

Look closely to her,

A white eye,

A silver smile,

A friendly wink.

No matter whichever,

There is still a Dark side.

Everyone is born of light and dark.

But only the bright Moon,

Can show her sides so beautifully

Really nice.I love how the moon comes to play in the poem.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
