Dearest, Sad Little Me

    Dearest, Sad Little Me

    Dearest, sad little me 1/21/10

    try and be brave
    wipe the dusty old lines
    from your aging old face

    be kind to yourself
    because one self
must and should try and forget

it is only kindness that keeps
    you brave
even if it may only come
in its only wanting of it

    dearest, little me
    i ove (love), you
    at lease i want too

do you feel the warming to it
    a time of release
when water falls from the sky
and puddles of water turn to mud
    and river of tears wash
away just little moments of pain

    I am with you
if only my little old arms of fat
    could cradle you
if only my skin was not your same skin
    you could feel my embrace
    and would not feel
    a woe

    dearest little one
    what wisdom could i give
that you have not already hear

    and in giving Love
    found that it dose not
mean you will receive it back

    and in knowing
    dose not mean
    you can change
    what is to come

    and have found in life
    some do not live
    but just survive

and lies are believed more than the truth
and money is not the root of all evil
    but is in fact love

    for love men well take
    what is not there's
    in order to give
    to these who are not
only to clam it comes from the One
    dearest sad little me
in a 100 years your name will be cleared

    but who knows history lies...

I love your words. You seem to know how to sing to the soul (hence your name, I suppose) and make it weep or laugh. Keep on writing. I enjoy your works.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
