    DIVINE METAMORPHOSIS

The seasons have changed yet the temperature is still the same
The wind is softly blowing the leaves and the branches sway as they call my name
My body embraces the climate while my mental is bringing about a change
I admit outside is beautiful but something amidst this atmosphere seems strange
Buzzing flies are undisciplined like they have never been trained
No relief from the yardwork it still must be maintained
Inside my soul is screaming like a hardened criminal it needs to be chained
But i'm about to birth an empire so I must lift the restraints
I know you dont understand its beyond one's comprehension
So be at ease, please release the tension and don't panic when I began to mention
My plight or journey its for this i've been petitioned
To come out of this box and exceed its dimension
There you go again tell me why are you clenching?
I told you in the last poem I had to sink before I could rise
So why are you acting all surprised
You want me to stay down with you? well boo I apologize
The wave is high and I am ready to ride
Favor just ain't fair our dreams just don't coincide
I'm ready to live I simply refuse to just die
So I packing my gear and moving beyond this place
My air forces are laced I'm prepared to run this race
I'm taking my time for I know I must pace
If you threaten to block me you'll catch my dust in your face
If that's your intention forget I was your friend and my number ERASE!

Simple stuff, but full of almost genuinely conceived metaphor, and, even better , genuine feeling rather than going through the paces to construct a poem.

I am not sure if this 1 is written from experience or just inspiration; but it is very good & expresses what so many have felt 1 time or another.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
