    That's Life

Life is merely what you make of it
Ups, downs, a smile? sometimes you have to fake it
For some days I have stood upon the mountain high
While on others i've wandered in the valley low
Then there are days that I've cried and constantly questioned why
There are times when I am happy beyond one's belief
And then there are occasions that I must run to find relief
Hence I have come to this conclusion
That life is merely an illusion
Choice is the name of this game
You either choose to be happy or you choose to be sad
You choose to succeed or blame life for all the mishaps you've had
Some days yes in fact will be blue, while others will be bright and sunny
Sometimes you will simply sigh and some days you will think life is funny
    Guess what? that's life

Again another well written and very reflective poem. I practice a life style built on the teachings of the Toltecs which believes all of life is an illusion and that reality is merely built upon our own perception of events we experience. Your poem h

Guess what! Thats Life, Awesome write thanks so much for sharing.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
